Can’t help noticing that Orwellian/Bulgakovian touch! Unlike in the past two cases, the modicum of freedom in Iran gives us an idea of the desperation that drives such protests. And the hopelessness behind it all.
I dont think Iran is freer than Burma, its just that people are more prosperous and have access to modren technology …

Looks like it was just another of my illusions. After following the news reports for sometime I now realize that I had mistaken bright-light photography for freedom.
